We need to keep in mind that France has the history of radical trade unionism. Trade unions in France are well organized and anchored in to political ideology. They stand for their rights.

I really admire the people of France. They are nation who is not afraid of their government, and who takes to the streets when they are pissed.

That is how politics should be. Expecting your government to represent your interests, since you vote for them. When they fail, you show them how off the path they have gone.

Americans should study the French where they actually protest in the street which works better than waiting four years to vote a crook out of office! The French people confronts their Government. Americans just stick their heads in the sand in fear like they did the in eight years with Bush!
